1. Measure the size of the vent hole and the frame to ensure you purchase the correct grille size. A return air filter grille with a 20x20 size and 22x22 dimensions will require a 20x20 hole and a 22x22 frame.
2. Unscrew the frame and then remove the grille. Position the frame and secure it with screws. Once the frame is in place, install the new grille to complete the task.
